Latest Information about Novel Coronavirus Cases in China

On July 11, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 7 new cases of confirmed infections (all were imported cases, 4 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Shanghai municipality and 1 in Zhejiang province), no new cases of suspected infections, and no deaths. 11 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 235 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of severe cases remained unchanged.

As of 24:00 on July 11, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 1,971 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 1,893 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 78 confirmed cases (no cases severe cases) and 4 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on July 11, the National Health Commission had received reports of 83,594 confirmed cases and 4,634 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 78,634 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 326 confirmed cases (including 3 cases severe cases) and 7 suspected cases. 766,329 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 3,739 were still under medical observation.

On July 11, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 5 new asymptomatic cases (all were imported cases). 4 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 3 imported cases) and no asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases. As of 24:00 on July 11, 112 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 84 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on July 11, 1,928 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 1,431 in Hong Kong (7 had died and 1,197 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 46 in Macao (45 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 451 in Taiwan (7 had died and 438 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
